The B Sharps are a student formed group made up of about twelve middle and high school students. We have a student band leader who got all of the music, and put together the rehearsals, and scheduled the gigs. It is a very dedicated group of students who all are into the music.

We formed after we saw a Maynard Ferguson concert in January. He inspired us, and we all decided to give it a go. Our band is about the same size as Maynard's is. It is very exciting.   

Our gigs

We have had a few gigs since we've started, not many, because we're a fairly new group, but we've had out gigs, and they went very well. Our first gig was at the eigth grade awards dinner at our school. Our second gig was at our school talent show. We placed second. Our third gig was at the June Fete Village Fair, and our last gig was at the eigth grade promotion assembly. We have an upcoming gig at a coffee shop in hatboro.
